FAMU Mobile is a free iPhone app developed by Florida AM University. Designed to connect users with all things FAMU, this app offers a range of features for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and guests.
With FAMU Mobile, users can stay up to date with the latest news and events happening at FAMU. The app provides real-time access to course schedules, financial aid and registration information, and even Rattler athletics news, schedules, and scores. Users can also connect with FAMU's social media channels, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
One of the standout features of FAMU Mobile is its ability to serve as a personal tour guide. Users can take a virtual tour of the campus and easily locate campus buildings with the app's GIS-enabled custom map. Additionally, the app allows users to listen to the campus radio station, WANMThe Flava Station, and watch live events on FamCast.
FAMU Mobile offers six personas to choose from, including Student, Prospective Student, Online Student, Faculty and Staff, Alumni, and Guest. Each persona provides access to specific modules tailored to their needs.
